Hello everyone,
I have a 20 gallon hex tank that has been setup for about 6 months.
Tomorrow, I am adding a yellow leather and a carnation and would like advice
from anyone who has successfully kept these corals. From the information I
have gathered, these are both 'easy' to keep, needing only water flow and
filter feeding. I plan on putting the carnation just in front of and below
one of the powerheads (heavy flow) and the yellow leather below the bakpak
skimmer return (for moderate flow). Is there anything I should be aware of
or look out for?
The tank has successfully kept:
3 sets of mushroom rock
1 large colony of asst button polyps
1 green star colony
1 yellow polyp colony
1 yellow tail damsel
1 CBS
20-30 asst hermits
20-30 asst snails
Had an emerald crab but pulled it and placed it in another tank last
week
I had a pair of leathers fade and die on me earlier, :-( maybe because of
the crab(?)
Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
