Don't want to bother everyone with tons of questions until I get some
intelligent questions to ask. :)
Can anyone direct me to a FAQ for starting an invertebrate tank?
Thanks,
Alan

are three good resources. And we don't mind questions as long as
you're willing to listen to the advice, and learn from your
mistakes.<g>

You've already asked the most intelligent question of all. A rare thing in
this day and age.
Start here: http://faq.thekrib.com/intro-turf.html .

You've been given some excellent links-
I want to warn you though, that the answer to *any* question is reefkeeping
is "it depends".
You won't find many absolutes and every system is different.
Just keep reading and assimilating information and after a couple of months
it will begin to make sense.
It can be daunting- don't give up, and don't be afraid of asking questions.
Just don't expect a simple answer <g>.
Welcome!

Aye, that's the truth.

Lord, if he can make sense of this stuff after a couple of months, he's
ahead of the power curve, methinks! :-) I know I've been studying about
reefkeeping on and off (more 'off' than 'on', though :-)) for at least 10
years, and there's just so much I don't know yet. That's the major reason
why I enjoy it so much.

Very well said. Bravo.
One positive thing we can say about our hobby is that there is no lack of
friendly, helpful people. Most of them even remember what it was like to be
new.

H.

Also check out the 3 steps to a reef aquarium at www.3reef.com. They
also have forums. Maybe I'll see you there.
