I have been a long time FAMA subscriber and the subscription runs out this
year.
I am not into fresh water at all and am now looking to redeploy those
subscription funds to a more sal****er specific/reef specific magazine. I
am looking for suggestions/links please.
Thanks in advance.

There is a new mag out called coral magazine that just hit the states. I
can't seem to find it anywhere though. Does anyone know what I'm
talking about?

$6 an issue is not that bad, esp. if you compare it to the amount you've
invested in your tank. From what I heard on nano-reef.com it is well worth the
money. There are hardly no advertisers and filled with articles, photos.

I am a Corvette owner/enthusiast and my Corvette magazines don't cost any
more to produce than say Hoopty Monthly. LOL
Six bucks an issue is VERY high in the publishing world.

Yes, you are right. However, all I can say is that every page is in
full color on thick glossy stock, and each issue was translated from the
original German articles.
I haven't subscribed yet, but it is one I do want to sign up for. If I
don't like it, I won't renew.

Comparing Corl to a regular magazine is like comparing a Graphic Novel to a
regular Comic Book.....

I'll buy that it's better quality than others,
but $6.00 an issue is very, very high in the
printing world.
I own a print/graphic design shop and I'd love to get
those kind of prices.. But whatever their market will bear.

I think that the only reason it is so high is because the amount of
subscribers in the States is still perty low
