I am making a 24" x 24" window, its about 1/2" thick. I am putting a
small green air diffuser (i think thats the name, just a little green
tube that makes bubbles) on the bottom and covering it with a little
sand. It will be a window that bubbles basicly.
I have some precut 1/4" acrylic plexi glass, 2 big pieces and 4 small
pieces for the top which has a small hole for the tube, bottom and
sides. What would be the best way to join all the pieces and make
sure the diffuser stays on the bottom?

I would use a piece of air tubbing run along bottum and poke small holes in
for air to bobble out. assemble all your plexi with the silicone sealant,
the kind for window and doors.
I assume no fish are going in this ?
the air defuser will make very small bubbles and if this is going to be an
art piece, the bigger bubbles are more pleasing. punch holes it the tubbing
about an inch apart and seal the other end with the silicone. You might try
adding some of the colored confetti to swirl and with the bubbles. Good
luck..

Good

I didn't think that silicone would work on Plexiglas. It doesn't work on
acrylic, which is not that different.

There shouldn't be very much shear pressure on it as it was only going to be
half inch thick.
I was thinking of doing similar myself, so I will test it out. Jim
