ORP Oxidation is a process in which a molecule or ion loses electrons.
Reduction is a process by which electrons are gained. A measurement of
the potential for these processes to occur is called ORP (Oxidation
Reduction Potential).

ORP is Oxidation Reduction Potential, or Redox Potential; it is
measured in mV, and can be either positive or negative. It indicates
that the availability or lack of free electrons in the water. A
negative value is an indication of the antioxidant value of the water.
Tap water and most bottled waters have a high ORP. With electrolysis
ORP goes down and pH goes up.
