I had a new coral fall from a rock, I put my hand in to pick it up and some
under a rock which I assume was a shrimp popped it nipper out and with a
loud crack sound it got me between the wick of my thumb nail and the skin,
it drew blood real fast. Not to meantion it scared the **** out of me and I
bumped a rock while pulling my arm out and the whole rock wall come tumbling
down.
I got the rock wall back up but not the way it was originaly, but I am still
guessing the attack was from a mantis shrimp.
Anyone want to guess what it was ?

Rec Games Pinball, a newsgroup. Pins would be referring to the pinball
machines these fine gentlemen collect. You have to have something to do while
you are waiting for your tank to cycle. LTG :)

RGP messages are off the scale for me now, I sold a Black Knight machine and
rased the cash needed to get some decent gear to start up a reef system. It
was a sad day to see a loved machine leave the house, but hey when I started
spending the cash on the tank stuff and making cabinets for the tank and a
hood and setting up the plumbing it made it all worth while.
But the comment about playing pinball while the tank is cycling is so true,
I think my games got a good bash'in for a few weeks there, now that the tank
has cycled and is growing well I don't get time with them much anymore. I
turned them on while waiting for some PVC glue to set and 2 of the 7
machines had flat batteries, so I thought back and it's 7 months since they
have been turned on.
Both hobbies are so cool. I just have to convince the wife to let me put a
pin on each side of the tank, now that would be super cool.

Ive got some extra hobbies if someone is interested. Might cost you....
Lessee.... coin collecting. Pinball machines. Reef keeping. koi , i guess
that makes me a pond guy also, golf, computer gaming, oh and lest I forget,
Jaguars. The cars, not the football team or stuffed animals or something.
I think the last one is probably the most expensive. Which one is the most
satisfying? Heck if I know. I havent had a weekend free since 1997.

Why not make a pin ball machine with a reef tank in it, that way you can
have the best of both worlds.
IMO it would be possible, not easy but possible and you'd probably have
the only one in existence.

Interesting idea, I have a spare pinball cabinet to fool around with, I
wouldn't make it a reef tank tho. And I recon the solinoids would scare the
**** out of the fish.
