i have an old rena quartz uv30steriliser.the casing is quartz .the tube
needs replacing & it appears as if it has been siliconed into the holder &
has huge black rubber o rings.anyone with experience on changing this models
bulb.unit was from france.cant find anything on google.

My advice is don't fit a uv,it only revents problems and does not get to
the source. For example it will kill the white spot before you see it,
but that is only masking an underlying problem. Another draw back to uv
is that it also kill planckton which will naturally occur in your tank.
To kill it would be foolish as it is essential to coral growth. If you
are worried about white spot or other parrasites garlic is much safer
and just as effective
