Another Tank Setup question

So I am in the process of moving a tank right now. I am setting up a
'new' one to just move the old one into with a new DSB. My question is
I thought about bringing a few smaller pieces of live rock into the tank
that is being set up to hopefully get some of the critters and what not
a start in the tank. Would this be a good idea?
