Hello,

My name is Roberto, typing from Italy

I'll spend a week in San Francisco in September and I'm wondering if you can
suggest some good aquarium shops to visit. (The biggest, the cheapest, the
coolest, the most "reefed")

In town or close by.

I will do most of my aquaria shopping online, delivered to the hotel, but
would love to see how is the street market in your country.

Another question is about aquarim books. Do you ususally by at bookstores or
aquarium shops ?
I want to buy all books from SPRUNG, CALFO, BORNEMAN, FOSSA
(Buying in the states can be 60% cheaper than in my country)

Thanks a lot for any advise.

Ciao !

Do not know SF area so I will respond to the books question only:
all my books come directly from online bookstores, mostly from:
www.amazon.com and www.bn.com They constantly run "free shipping"
deals, so you pay for books only, not for tax nor shipping...
If you find a better/cheaper place to get books let me know ;-)

In regards to San Francisco stores question - I am going to
spend a weak in this area pretty soon too - anybody can recomend
some interesting reef places out there? Some awesome reef stores, etc?

You might want to stop by Nippon Goldfish, on Geary St. in the center of
the city. Two stories, with most livestock down below and most equipment
(plus some show tanks) up above.

Based on what you know about him in history books, what do you think
Abraham Lincoln would be doing if he were alive today?
(1) Writing his memoirs of the Civil War.
(2) Advising the President.
(3) Desperately clawing at the inside of his coffin.

I don't really see much good aquarium in SF. Some good today but not later
on the following couple of week.
You can try this link of those store. Kind of outdated. Besure to check /
call in if they still there ... etc...
