What brand chiller do you use?
What model is it?
And what size tank do you have?

i don't use a chiller i keep the tank at 80f at all times have no lid
and if the temp starts to creep up i blow a fan over the top, but i
have only had to do this once in three years. I run a full reef tank,
it's only 60gallons, and everything thrives at this temperature even my
porites rock

98 gallon acrylic -- 140 gallons total system volume -- in the basement
of a moderately air-conditioned house, 3 250W MH, 2 4 ft T-5. The
chiller runs 4-5 times a day during the summer and no more than once a
day during the winter.

And where do you live? What does your room temperature rise to?
