ok, i know this sound a bit weird, but i am looking to buy some live eels
just few to have in one of my spare tanks, not for lunch, somehow it seems
almost impossible to find some, strangely enought, they have become a
delicatess dish again here in london UK, where apparently they are turning
up alive, so somewhere they must be a source to get some.
please any help will be really appreciated, u might even be someone who goes
fishing and come across some?
eitherways i am happy to pay for it ..
email me for details on ;

bestregards,
Herve

Try your local chinatown. I regularly see live eels, grass carp, lobsters
crabs, etc, etc, etc in oru chinatown, and I'm smack in the middle of the
prairies.

that right i was lookinfg more for the normal riverkind type one, not
specially fire ells etc...my local petstore got some of them already on
those when big become extremely picky eater, anyway i was just looking for,
the old good fashion easten eels, got to china town, and what do i find
after looking for a very long time the only fishstore, anyway, i saw this
gigantic eels!!!
though what the hell!
i still got a spare tank if thing turn nasty in the huge tank, got home,
and the bloody thing was dead!
he was alive when he sold it to me, but did not put enought water i did say
i wanted to keep it alive,
anyway when to get another one straight away, thsi one move! but i notice
the same thing then the first one, she has blood around her mouth i reckon
she was caught with some kind of hook??
let hope she make it, she seem ok, but i would not say she is super bright
either, kind of sluggish at the momment...
chinese eels are big i mean big! this one look like a python!!
as long and tick as a arms!
i am thinking to get very smalll fish to feed her or maybe if i can find
some shrimp? any suggestion ?maybe someone on line send some?
anyway though i would let u knows the result, of a half crap/sucess story.
cheers
