Hey all, I was just packing some stuff up and ran across a mini fountain
that I had put together a while back for my girfriend that is not in current
use. I got to thinking "what if I used this pump to essentially create a
wave maching thus increasing the ability of my power head to trap larger
wastes that would get caught in the substrate and increase surface
agitation..plus on the side my pepper loach would have a new current to swim
against since Im sure he's getting bored of swimming up against the power
heads spillout current. Anyway just wanted to see if anyone had any
experience doing this. Im thinking that it will be perfectly safe since
these pumps are designed to operate under water and can be adjusted to
control the flow. Cheers-Brian

There is a certain amount of overlap in equipment for ponds and aquariums.
As long as the cord is still soft, and there are no cracks in the housing,
it is capable of being used in the aquarium, like a small powerhead.
