mollie fry and platy fry are pretty close to the same. i keep a trio of breeding
platies on hand just to have live foods to feed to my tigers and my angels. they
will eat them up untill they are about 3 months old. even if they wont fit in
their mouths, the tigers will peck them appart to feed (and dont be fooled,
their mouths are bigger than most people think). YMMV but that is my experience.
plus the black mollies would be easier to see for the barbs.

Thanks for the info guys!
I read also that they like to nip at the fins of slower moving fish. But I
love them anyway! I will keep them separate as not to put them in danger.
Thanks so much!
Ralph
