Any ideas how to remove chalky look from glass?

I do have fish in the tank. I have tried scraper and brush but not working.

I use an old credit card , or similar, on my acrylics. The stiffer the
better. Razor blade (carefully) on glass.

I use a razor on tempered glass, takes it right down to a shine. I try and
grab it before it builds up to badly with a normal algae scraper or
scotchbrite pad. The first couple months in the tank was bad, but after the
tank settled, it came off easier, didn't build up that much. I usually only
have to use the scrotchbrite pad now to rub it off, razor for the surface.
