Does anyone here have any info on breeding Bolivian Butterflies? Alot of
people start telling me how to do it, but then I realise they are talking
about B. Rams.

what I have been told is this:

1.lower the ph with peat,
2. the water should go a bit murky because of the peat also,
3. take out a third of the water
4. turn the heater down to about 21 degrees.
5. turn the light off in the aquarium.
Leave it like this for about three days then fill the tank with fresh water,
turn the heater back on and remove the peat.

apparantly this signifies a "flood time" and the clearing of the rain and
the sun coming out.

any feedback appreciated.

The info on the species is available online at Adelaide aquarium(google
search will find it). I will grab it tonight (I have no web access at work)
or you could look it up yourself in the meantime.

they are a great resource by the way, lots of "fish files".
