I guess it would probably be a silly thing to do to raise the ph of my tank
with a couple of drops of lemon juice or vinegar?

Yes, especially since those would lower the pH.
Best not to mess with it if you don't have a really good reason.

LOL...Thats just too funny.
But you're right, don't mess with the ph, rather just keep it stable, thats
what counts!

I agree!
The only real times I recommend messing with it is when you have certain fish
and are trying breed them, but the require a specific pH to spawn.
