another boring "what's wrong with my fish" post

I'll keep it quick guys... my golden gourami has developped a reddish-brown
spot on his side. It's near where he recently lost a couple of scales in a
scrape with some wire.. .the scales are growing back but this spot looks
like it could be developping into a sore.

any ideas?

Don't panic. Add some course salt to the tank, just give it some time to
heal. And make sure your water quality is good.
