Yep,,, back at university, I had a project I was going to use them in. Never
did manage to get mine to eat, so after 4 rounds, I gave up, and went back
to marine rays.

If they're so fat you can't see the pelvic girdle, I don't think you need to
worry. Mine were fairly small (about 3" diameter), and lasted about 4-5
weeks without eating before they died. Course, from what I've seen other
folks say, the antenae rays are really tough to keep (thats what I had), so
YMMV. If they're eating, ny general rule is give them as much as they'll
take..... They won't eat themselves sick......
