Hello,

Can someone tell me how long it takes for the red platies fries to
become a full fish ?

Also what other fishes are compatible with them.

Thanx,
Gaurav

Really depends on what type of food they get, how much space they have,
water conditions, and lack of predators. Live foods will make them grow
faster than flake - feed them twice a day, gradually increase their living
space as they grow older/larger, keep the water conditions pristine (change
old for new (20% every few days) and get rid of debris on the bottom) and
keep the other hungry fish away. That's the way to do it. Varying any/all
of those will indeed change the growth rate. Optimally, you could expect a
platy to reach adolescence in 3~4 months or so.

Otherwise you can just raise them in the aquarium with the other fish.
You'll have very few make it to adulthood, but they will be savvy survivors!
