DIY river tanks

Im wondering if anyone has a site in mind that instructs on how to put
together a river tank? Or if anyone has done this before, a friend of mine
is considering this venture and pretty sure that "it should be pretty easy",
Im not so sure however so any imput would be greatly appreciatted.Cheers,
