Hi,
Wondering if someone can comment on the nature of cardinals. I've
always found mine to be gentle and to lurk near the bottom in my
thicket of plants, waiting for food to fall to their level.
Just fed them after a 2 day break (oops) and they must be hungry,
because first they chased each other out of the way for food,
then they went to the top and chased the faster fish out of the
way! (Harlequins, Scissortails, Black Neons, all the same size
as the cardies.)
Never seen them show even the slightest bit of get up and go,
just sit around looking pretty, but they got all competitive!
