Another Eclipse tank question

Many thanks to the two persons who confirmed that the smaller Marineland
Eclipse tanks seem to run hotter than ambient air.

Another question: I see bubbles formed on the biowheel when I stop it to
check it out. Normal or not? I don't believe my tap water is soft, and
there's nothing in the tank but aquarium gravel and two frill plants.

Normal, and not a problem. So long as the bio-wheel is turning, and
being exposed to both air and water, it will be doing its job.
