I am facing a new outbreak of Ich, and I suspect is i am getting my fish
tank overcrowded with guppies ( I have already check with you guys about
controling them)
My concern is the following: I have applied the Rid Ich+, and i want to know
if it can be harmful to my pl*co. I have applied just today for first time,
one teaspoon for each 10 gal. Tomorrow I will cahnge 25% of the water.
Because I dont see more than one fish with ich and another one with fungus
(both of them rummy nose) I was thinking one dose will be enough. At least
to check for a week to see what happen.
Over a year this is the third time i have Ich, never lost any fish because
of it and I found different reason for each of the outbreak, tank not cycled
first time, sick fish introduced, and now overcrowded tank
ANy feedback would be appreciated
Thanks

Not sure about the pleco, but I would raise the temp by a couple of
degrees to speed up the ich lifecycle.

I would treat your tank with Quick Cure or Rid Ich using recommended doses
on day 1, 4, 7 and 11 with water changes in between doses. Even if the
visible signs of ich disappear it is important to continue the treatment to
the end otherwise it will come back. One treatment is not enough.
