Please Help Jelly lIke stuff taking over......

Hi everyone.

I have had a fishtank for over two month now, it was not a graet start since
i went through ich, strange bacterias and fish dying one after another.

Well after renewing gravel, plants and cycling the water i have not had any
problems for about a month or so. Today i have noticed a strange thing.
I have several plastic plants in my aquarium and i noticed strange jelly
like substance covering all of the plants from top to bottom. Also glass had
the same substance on it. It looks transparent, and it's in form of sticks
and very sleasy. I was trying web search by keywords but did not get
anywhwere. If someone knows what is it i would like to get help on getting
rid of it. Because all of the sudden since yesturday my fish began acting
strange, (like they are unhappy) and that stuff is growing very fast also it
seems that water contains a large quantity of this stuff just floating
around (but it's hard to notice it).

yank out whatever you seen that on, and clean it very well... that's an
indication that your snails are getting ready to take over.... hurry!!!!
