Swordtail

I just bought a pair of black swordtails. (xiphophorus helleri) for
my 75 gal. community tank. Pretty neat. I have never heard of or seen
them before. Bud

Yeah, they are nice, aren't they! I have a pair in mine, soon to be
expecting more, as I believe they are prolific livebearers. Mine are orange,
but the male has a black sword. Hope you haven't got two males (the ones
with the swordlike extension on the caudal fin) as they fight.

Not only the sword is black but the body is black as well with a white
streak going down his back. As for her, she is jet black with a it of
white on her belly and in the tail. If I can get a good picture of them,
I`ll post it. Bud
