I medicated my 29 gallon aquarium 7 days ago. The instructions on the
medication container (TC=tetracycline I think) says water may become
discolored and foam may form on the water surface. My water is still
discolored and foam remains. How long will this condition remain? The
fish that did not succumb to the ich and tail rot I had seem healthy and
have good food appetites. Will the color go away by itself. When should I
try introducing inexpensive fish into this aquarium? Thanks. Frank

You did do water changes after you finished the medication period, right?

You can either do water changes or add charcoal to your filter to get
rid of the meds. (Or both).

I suggest doing a 1/3= 1/4 water change and changing your carbon.
This should do the trick!!
