Is it normal for these beauties to dot around scavaging for bits and look
like they are 'nibbling' at the sides of the other fish.

I've got several that do that, sort of a "tag, your it" kinda nibble...
totally normal, and if you'll notice, they're probably doing it to notify
others of the change of direction, or trying to get someone to notice
something... it's all in fun... Cories have NO aggression....
