Hi All,

I am writing some aquarium software, and I need the following:

1. Photos/video of fresh/salt fish & inverts (with species names)
2. Photos of plants (with names)
3. Photos of equipment (tanks, stands, heater, pumps, skimmers,
filters, etc.)
4. Photos/video of complete aquariums.
5. Ornamental koi ponds & all the equipment that goes along with them.
Photos and/or video of the construction would be very nice.
6. Aquarium-related articles or diagrams you have written.
7. Aquarium-related photos & video.

Anyone that submits a usuable item will receive a copy of the software
and a mention as the contributor when their item is used in the
software. The item must be original material and have been created by
the contributor. The email must state that you are giving reproduction
and distribution rights.

The software will be an introduction to the wonderful world of
aquariums, with as much multimedia as I can pack on a cdrom....or
possibly dvd.

If you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Send items and inquiries to:

This is something that I've wanted to do for years, and now I've
decided it's time. I've been keeping fish for 15+ years, so I'm no
newb, although definitely not what you would call a guru ;- )). Here's
a link to some photos of the humble beginnings of my fishroom:

Hope to hear from y'all real soon.

Thanks,
Paul

Beginnings of a nice set-up. Thanks for sharing.

What will you be breeding? Central filtration can be problematic with
fry (how to filter out fry and not clog intake and overflow tank ;~).

I noticed leveling pipes between tanks (20s_lg.jpg). Is this a safety
feature or do you need to rely on it?

cheers

Do not expect too much. These things come around now and then, most of the
projects died because of the lack of material. There are very very few
people around spending their materials for others

But hey, when i remove the html-page from the URL, why do I find tons of
weapons data on that server?

It's a s00p3r d00p3r t0p s3cr3t s1te. The black helicopters will be
coming for you any minute. Better put the tin foil hat on while you
still have time... ;-)

[They're weapons characteristic tables for some sort of game. ]

I've always been fond of the Traveler PGMP-15 myself. ;-)

Although an ancient red dragon will settle your hash just about as well.

Yeah, the weapons list is for MW Mercenaries. Excellent game.

Breeding African Cichlids. If I had a choice, I wouldn't use central
filtration. I don't have a dedicated room that I can heat, and I don't
plan on running 50+ heaters, so I'm kinda stuck right now. I have a
swee****er blower for sponge filters, but no point in using it right
now.

As for fry with a central filter and overflows, adding some fine
screen over the overflow will work. They'll be housed in the 10's, and
possible 5's, so the flow won't be too great, anyways.

The leveling pipes were put there while I'm working out waterflow
issues. If you look at the pic that shows under the bottom row of
tanks, you'll see how I'm it's draining. Had an issue with a couple
tanks nearly overflowing, so I added the pipes to help out. Added them
to the other rows while I was at it, just for safety's sake. Figured
out the problem, and don't need 'em now.

Thanks,
Paul

Maybe I'll finish it, and maybe I won't. Send me some pics and you'll
find out before most of the public. Otherwise, you'll have to pick it
up at your LFS.
:-P

Thanks,
Paul
