WHICH IS THE BEST ALGAE-EATER TO PUT IN A 10 GAL. TANK

Check up on "Otos", great little fish. If you're not having to many other
fish and want a larger algae eater, check up on the Clown Pleco, they're "at
home" in smaller tanks, best in 20-30g tanks. DO NOT get a common pleco.
Will outgrow the 10g in a few months. Same as SAE's and CAE's.

i'll second that, oto's (otocinclus) are a great fish to have for a 10 gal.

take off the 'ALL CAPS', in usenet (newsgroups) it is considered 'yelling'. :-)

Your caps key appears to be stuck.

PLEASE FIX IT.

Thanks.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, Cories don't really touch algae
.... though they are great bottom scavangers. I have 1 Bronze, 1 Albino,
1 Spotted and 3 Julii ... and lots of algae they never touch. OTOH, I
never see any large detritus coming up when I vacuum the gravel; and the
Cories have great personalities and provide lots of activity in the tank.

Hope this helps,
Dennis

Cory's (in general) aren't algae-eaters.
