Has anyone had any experience with the Azoo Palm Filter? There's not
much info out there that I was able to find on it.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?

TIA!

What are you wanting to use it in?

Hi TYNK! I have a 2 1/2 gallon rectangular tank for my male Betta
which is currently unfiltered. I was looking for a way to filter it
for him. It was sold with a glass top, a light hood and nothing else.
Trying to find a filter that works has been challenging. The Azoo
filter was suggested by a poster at another board.

The link you posted wouldn't work.
Is it an under gravel filter or a sponge filter?

this is the correct link, albeit one very long link... maybe a tinyurl will
be better..

that'll work as good...

might be too much current for a 2.5 gallon tank, might stress the betta out

i know, i have 4 females in a 5.5 withthat whisper junior filter, its on low
but it still provides a bit of current. not that the females (Kagome,
Sango, Kagura, and Red) mind because they have short fins. but a 2.5 is a
smaller tank then a 5.5 and on the minibows the exact same whisper filter is
used.

Thanks again..this board really is the best!

Hey TYNK...I'm glad you like them! I tried to find the site that
wrote about them being perfect for Bettas but couldn't. I was looking
for some feedback as they really did seem to be a great alternative to
the UGF that I have always used for Bettas. Let me know if you try
one!

A lady on a Betta message board just said that she uses them on her 2 1/2g tank
for her Betta....and that there's a flow ajustment on it too. That's even
better for your Betta. Heck, at $5.99...ya can't beat it.

Cute little filter. Nice price for it, too. I wonder, though, if it
would cause the same problems for me that the Eclipse 3 did - when I
tried placing it on my desktop, the EM really interfered with my
monitor, made it impossible to look at.

depends on the distance between them, cause I'm positive that one will put
out some EMFs, just to what range, and how strong....
