Hi,
I have a recently established 75 gallon aquarium.
My lone bala shark, his friend died in a house move, is determined to
get one of his eyes poked out by the 2 angelfish I have. They are a
couple. He will swim up to them, stop and extend all his fins. The
angelfish don't usually like this and will ram at his face, but the
shark will make this defensive move, tilting 45 degrees downwards, and
stay put and rotate its body to avoid the abuse like a bull fighter. The
shark is very stubborn! For some reason, his right eye is always
receiving the damage. Today, it is cloudy and twitching. I can't see how
this eye can take any more injury. Does he need another bala to keep him
company? I've never seen a bala shark so defensive/aggressive!
Thanks,
Nikki
