Between one & about 35 fish in that size tank - depends on what species,
filtration & general water maintainence.
What types of fish were you thinking of?

To echo what Sue said, there are really too many variables
to answer your question. Best advice is go to the aquaria
FAQ and start reading.

I'm only repeating what I heard before...
One inch long of fish for every gallon of water.

Hey, I have a Top Fin 30 filter and i do 25% weekly water changes, i
am shooting for a community tank with mostly tetras, gouramis,
possibly a Kuhli Loach, a redtail black shark some corydora and a
Pleco, do you think i could do it? I like I said earlier I am not a
novice, probably intermediate.

Plecos get huge, unless you can find the dwarf variety. And
I think you're getting close to or are overstocked. Most of
the fish you mention aren't solo fish but like buddies of
the same species: the tetras, the corydoras, the loaches.
I don't know about sharks; never had one.
Stocking levels aren't just about number of gallons in your
tank, but rather surface area for gas exchange. Your 29 G
Tall has a lot less surface area than my 30 G Long and can
take a lot fewer fish, all else being equal. That's why I
recommended reading the "beginning" FAQ, even though you
consider yourself "intermediate". I'm not a novice myself
anymore, but I still find much information useful, even when
that informatoin is aimed at "beginners".

Sadly, this "rule" doesn't apply to most fish in the hobby.
It's fine for something like a Neon Tetra or Guppy.
Think about that rule and apply it to a 10" Comet Goldfish or a 10" Oscar...in
a 10 gallon tank.
Not gonna fit. = )~
*well, maybe if you bend it in half, but I don't recommend that. ~snicker~
