Hi All,
This is starting to get ironic but here goes:
I have a spawning pair of kribs 2 on a 40 gallon planted tank.
I can also mention that now they have spawned for the fourth time and each
followed spawning there are more fries!
On their 3rd attempt I siphoned half the fries to a 30 gallon tank but was
starting to loose all of them, the other half was eaten by the parents.(they
were removed a few days after hatching)
This is the fourth spawning and I do not with to loose the little guys....I
am thinking of maybe removing the parents after a longer period ? or should
I wait longer and once again remove the fries the 30 gallon tank, but taking
some water out in order to ease it up for them while searching for food ?
Comparing to the 3 previous attempts there numbers of fries is
increasing.....
Any suggestions for saving them ?

Have you tried removing them into a breeding tank, a smaller tank, let them
breed remove the parents and put them back into their own tank.

I have bred lots of Kribs. I presently have a female with about a 100 fry in
a 20g tank. It was necessary to remove the male from the tank in this case
as he was eating the fry. The mother did her best to keep him away but it
was a constant battle. I have had other breeding pairs when both were good
parents.

From what I've read here in the past (my Kribs are also breeding right now,
the female is protecting her cave) the Kribs will eat their first few
breeds. After a while they learn what's going on and stop eating them.
Instead, they take them to other safe areas of the tank. Give your Kribs
time and they will learn. If you keep removing the fry, your Kribs probably
won't learn what they're supposed to do.
