Cloudy Piranha tank

I have a 150L tank with five piranhas and two convicts. I have had them for
a month now but the water is becoming really cloudy. I have not experienced
it with my other two tropical tanks.
The tank is cleaned every day, with a 5% water change every two days.

Anyone help?

Did you thoughly wash the gravel or sand before you put it in the tank.
Also with fish of that type,, they require high output filters running 24/7
