Just discovered 50+ krib fry and mother and father seem to be looking out
for them really well. Just wondering though when in parents opinion do fry
become food ?
Thanks

My kribs spawn about every 3 months. I have fry, parents, and grandparents
living in a heavily planted 40 gallon tank, mostly peacefully. The only time
I see any agression is for a couple weeks after the fry hatch, when the
female will chase the other adults away. The parents also chase away the
algae eaters in the tank, even though the fry aren't in any danger. Kribs
are great parents
In a small tank they might eat the fry, but I doubt it. I would let them
raise this batch on their own. You can wait until they spawn again and
seperate them if you have any trouble.
