Nope, but be sure to post your impressions of them. I bet the prices are
really low.

I found a website Singaporetropicalfish.com which lists possibly a few
hundred (ie 20 with names startung with "S") fish shops/farms etc. Don't
think I'll be able to decide where to go from this, so I hope a few
Singaporeans here will tell of their favourite LFS's.

Take MRT to Eunos station. Two LFS very near to station next to food store,
one specialized in Guppy. Also several LFS near to MRT Bugis station, ask
around.

Depends on what you want. For bettas, go to Straits Aquarium (Seletar
Farmway 1) and Blk 407 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10. Japanese Ranchus - go to Japan
Ranchu Palace (North Bridge Road, a few doors away from Md Sultan mosque). A
general good area is the Serangoon North Blk 154 (many there!). But the
mother of all fish farms is Qian Hu (71, Jalan Lekar, Sungei Tengah,
Singapore 698950). The last one I would say is a must. Take the train to
Bukit Batok MRT station. There is a free shuttle to Qian Hu.

Sorry. The shuttle bus to Qian Hu is from the Choa Chu Kang MRT, NOT Bukit
Batok.

The shuttle operates only on weekends. Check the company's website.

Thanks,

I remember passing these stations going into town from my in-laws place, so
will stop and have a look around.

Thanks Gabriel,

I'll certainly visit Qian Hu. Do you know of any large cichlid displays (
pref american ), or any where the best planted display tanks (ie the
singapore equivalent of Amano maybe? ) would be?

We leave for Singapore in 2 days..
