So if the Angels are Eating My Neons, what can I add to my tank that will
not eat the tails / fins on my angels. I really want to keep the angels,
they have LONG flowing fins / appendages and are beautiful.

This 120g seems so empty.

For a 120 gallon tank with angels, there are lots of possibilities. If most
of them are small, you can keep close to 100 fish. Nearly any peaceful fish
over 4cm long (1.7 inches) will be fine. Small, quick fish are ok too.

My suggestions for a 120 gallon ( once it's fully cycled) :
4 to 8 angels
1or 2 plecostomus / hypostomus OR 2 bristlenose algae eaters
6 to 9 ottocinclus OR 3-5 farowella algae eaters
6 to 9 corydoras or brochis catfish ( any species)

plus 15 to 20 of the following:
giant danios
emperor tetras
new guinea rainbows
emerald rainbows
bosemani rainbows
glass catfish ( keep a school of at least 6 )

and 30 to 40 of the following :
zebra or leopard danios ( too quick to be eaten)
rasboras
rosy barbs
lemon tetras
black phantom tetras
bleeding heart tetras
blue rams
bolivian rams
guppies ( angels will eat fry, but adults are left alone)

Others will work, these are just some of my favorites. This will give you a
total of about 70 fish, and leaves room to add 10 to 20 more depending on
size.

Just remember to do research before you buy. Impulse buying often turns out
to be a mistake, as you might get a fish that's highly agressive or grows to
be huge. My biggest mistakes were a Jaguar cichlid which killed every other
fish in the tank, and a lake sturgeon ( grows to 6 feet long ). Lessons
learned, but the hard way.

Wishing you better luck than I had ;

Were did you get a Lake Sturgeon? My next tank will be 400 Gallons and It
would fit for a long time.

I caught a baby lake sturgeon on hook and line in Lake Michigan. I didn't
know what it was at first, so I put in the tank with my other native fish
while I searched some books for it's identity. Once I found out that it
grows to over 6 feet, I released it in same place I caught it. ( yes, you do
need a permit )

A Shovelnose Sturgeon ( Scaphirhynchus platorhynchus ) would be a better
choice for an aquarium. They take about 10 years to grow to a maximum of
"only" 2 feet / 60 cm. Some pet stores have them for sale.
