I was out in the desert recently and found an interesting looking bone
(looks like a pelvis of a small animal). Will a bone be ok to add to
an aquarium? Do I need to worry about it leaching minerals or other
things into the water? If so, is there anything I can do to prepare
it before putting in my tank?

Thanks.

I would think it would leach a lot of calcium into the water
making the water harder. If it is a marine, chichlid, or liverbearer tank
that would be benificial though.
