Hi;
I have a pair of Red-eye Gourami and one of them is just pointed into the
top corner of the tank and will occaisionally try to back into the space
between the hanging thermometer and tank wall. Occaisionally the larger one
will nudge the smaller one in the side, near the tail...not nipping, just a
gentle bump.
This is an isolation tank where they sit for a week or two for observation
before joining the main tank so there is just one bunch of Anacharis in it.
In case they are trying to nest I have added a chunk of foam (for a
foundation) and turned off the filter.Any ideas what they're up to? Maybe
they're bored and should be added to the Community tank?
TIA
Dan
