Any ideas? It's about 4 inches and eats
everything placed in front of it. It was rescued
from a Goldfish tank so I'm assuming it is
cold water but I could be wrong.

When I first got it there was quite a bit of damage
to its fins and mouth/snout. Most of this has healed
but I think the mouth may be a bit out of kilter.
It has two small barbels which you can't see in this
picture.

Looks like a very skinny juvenile tench.
Will live comfortably with goldfish or koi.
Needs coldwater & will need a pond soon.

Thank you.
It was sold as a Weather Loach!
I have it in a tank on its own just now. I don't have
a pond but I know several people who do and can
take it when the weather is warmer.
