Somebody suggested I use a suction cup to keep the zuchini submerged for my
Plecos - well - it was a success :) Thanks!

Or a cheaper alternative - weigh it down with a rock. Works great for
lettuce too.

That wouldn't work with 5 clown loaches, they'd turn the Zuchini upside down
in a second and make the rock fall off. Most people would have a spare
suction cup though? From a filter or a heater?
BTW, could I feed them eggplant? I belive I saw somewhere mentioned that
anything green is ok. Eggplant is not green.. would it have undesired
substances in it?

Cauliflower stalk - sliced 5mm thick in cucumber sized slices - boiled twice
and then frozen to preserve. Occasionally I add a slice to the tank. It
floats for a while, but when it's defrosted, it sinks to the bottom.
