I'm getting ready to restock my tank and I'm kind of exciting. I loved my
cichilds but after 5 years, it's time for a change. I considering on going
with discus. But I'm afraid I don't know much about those fish. I've done
alot of reading and they don't seem to be and *harder* than Malawi cichlids.
But, I might also do a community tank. My main goals for my 55gal are 1)
lush plantings, 2) lots of colour, 2) lots of activity and movement (not
boring fish), 3) schooling type fish, 4) possibly some breeding.
As a side note, someone suggested I mix some clay kitty litter pellets into
my substrate to make the plants grow better. Ever heard of this ?
Anyways, some of the fish I'm considering using to make a community tank.
Any other suggestions ?
