I have had a 60L tank set up for 7 days and today got an ammonia testing
kit.
I then tested the water and the results came out as 0.0 ammonia?
this should be higher shouldnt it after just 7 days.
should be 5.0 or something

Are there any fish in there? Are you cycling the tank with or without fish?
If there are no fish, have you added ammonia yet?
Let me know and I might be ablt to help

a standing tank of water need something to start the process, so you could
add some fish food, or if you want to do a short and sweet method, add some
pure ammonia *(NO FISH)* and the process will start... It's called Fishless
