I have had plagues of snails for ages. I have always intended to get a
clown loach or similar to deal with them. Each water change I'd pull a
handfull out, but there seemed to be a never ending supply of them.
Recently they have reduced in number.
I have added a few Electric Blues - they ate all but one of my Neon Tetras.
Could they be eating the snails?
I also added an oversized power head that circulates the water four times an
hour and makes the tank look like a whirl-pool.
I also had a short time during which the tank got a bit too warm (which is
why I put the powerhead in it.
