Eclipse 12 - Fungus Clear

I purchased some new fish that came from the store with fin rot. I
droped a tablet of Jungle Labs Fungus Clear into my Eclipse 12 tank.
The box said to remove carbon from the filter so I took out my filter
pack. When should I return the filter (and carbon) the Fungus Clear
does not give a length of time on the box.
Also, will fungus clear kill the bacteria on my bio-wheel?

FYI incase anyone searches this post later.
Jungle Labs Customer Service recomended leaving the carbon out for 4
days.
They also claim that it might lessen the benificial bacteria but it
will not kill the biological filtration, so its ok to leave the bio
wheel in.
