Believe it. I've a Yoyo in a snail infested tank. He is not interested.
Perhaps they are too much effort. If I crush them, then he will eat
them, but at that point even my Guppies will eat them. I think I'll
trade him in for a Zebra loach.
To be fair, some Yoyos are good snailers, and some Clowns are not, but
overall, Clowns are much better (IME).

I've got a lazy one too, would rather eat angle fish eggs. Did a good job
when it was little.

I have mentioned this before, I go to the LF stores around here and
"ask" for their trash snails to feed my puffers.
