I'm not sure if anyone's tried this before. I found a new way to remove
algae from aquarium glass last night. Try using an ice scraper , like the
ones used for car windows. Use one that has a flat edge, not serrated. Also
be sure to either rinse it well to remove any traces of chemicals or just
buy a new one for a dollar or two. On flat pieces of glass it takes algae
off SO easily. No more scrubbing.

Now if only someone could come up with something to remove algae from plant
leaves ....
