Hi guys,
got an injured Zebra Danio in my tank. He has gone from the same size as the
other Danios, to being a simlair size to a neon tetra. Shortly after I got
him, I noticed that he was a little "bent" along his body, this has become
more pronouced as time has gone on. None of the other fish in th tank show
these symptoms, so I`m guessing it is an injury as oppose to a diease.
He has also gone very pale, and his strips are almost gone as well and I
can`t recall him eating for a few days either. he spend the last couple of
days in one of the caves I have in there. Today, I`ve checked the water
chemical levels and they are ok, when I returned I had a bit of a shock, he
was lying on his side on the gravel at the bottom of the tank, though his
gill`s were still moving, and he did start to swim around, though on his
side or upside down !!
again are these signs of injury or some disease ?? And also, is there a
"proper" way of disposing of dead fish if the worst happens ??
