Angel Fish And Misc Tank Issues

Hi All,

Just recently discovered these groups and have gotten some great
direction from the posters here. Here is a problem that has plagued
me for the last year or so. I currently have a 30 gallon tank,
filtration set up, heater, ect.. That contains among other things,
two somewhat large angel fish, one is a white one and one a black
marble colored fish. We have always had them together. Bought from
the same store, same tank, same everything. They are a little over a
year old. They are constantly trying to kill each other it seems.
They white colored one, which I think may be the female is very
aggresive. So aggresive that once, back in the fall of 03, she
jumped out of the tank at me while I was feeding one morning! I
gather that this is normal behaviour from some of the posts I have
seen. What can I do to try and relax things in there a little bit?
Anything? I also have two small catfish, three Sun Cats which we
just recently added, some mollies, and guppies. We feed them flake
food and frozen brine shrimp every day. Any thoughts\advice are
greatly appreciated.

IME, you'll need to separate the offending angel. Someone else will
probably have some better advice for you, though.

You may also be overloading your tank.
