The tank looks good but I don't care for the choice of fish. I'd have
beautiful colorful fish in such a tank. Malawi cichlids come to mind.

Maybe even the brighter colored koi and fancy goldfish.

As I indicated on another forum...it is incredibly ugly for as much effort
and $$ that went into it...but I am into small tanks.

...and imagine what it's done for the resale value of the house! Must be
adding to the electric and heating bills significantly. I'm trying to
imagine who would buy it. Perhaps the owner of a scuba supply shop who
could write its operation off, using it to demo products to customers. I
think this is an example of someone living out their dream, and deciding to
let the inheritors worry about what to do with it. Good for him.

I may want to buy it if it is still in working order. I may put in
different fish. I have to look at it first and to see how much is
going to cost me to run this huge thing.

Maybe just a wall size tank for me. That's my dream and one of these
days I may just live out my dream!

plus the excess water bill..

But if that's what he wants and can afford it, good luck to him.

We all spend money on our hobby, the only difference is, his hobby costs
more then our's does.

Personally I'd prefer to have two hundred and fifty 200g tanks, rather than
one 50,000g. I think my interests would be satisfied by 250 tanks, and 200g
seems like a nice manageable size ;~).

I agree, well I don't want that many but with one big tank you are limited
no matter what, unless that is what you want, with more then one big tank
you can have different setups, completely different types, might get boring
after a while.
